Held on the California State University, Fullerton campus, this conference celebrates the work of Philip K. Dick, whose papers were deposited in our Special Collections. Our theme is Philip K. Dick, Here and Now, exploring his influence on science fiction literature and film and the continued value of his work in helping us understand our science fictional world.
An exhibit in the Pollak Library Atrium Gallery, co-sponsored by the Art Department, will feature key works from Special Collections and new art inspired by PKD.
Keynote talk by Dr. Ursula Heise. Plenary talk by Jonathan Lethem, co-sponsored by the Patrons of the Library. Recollections of and reflections on PKD by Tim Powers and James Blaylock, sf authors and alums of CSUF. Many more guests to come!
